Ruth's Legacy Girl Dormitory Progress
The DHR Ministries organization has raised over $200,000 toward building an educational complex in Ibanda, Uganda. To date the campus includes a completed 7 classroom primary school, a completed boy dormitory, and a completed kitchen. Remaining projects in progress on the campus include an administration building, a library, and girl dormitory.
The primary school is fully operational with more than 300 students enrolled each year. However, because the living quarters for the girls have not been completed, the students are being housed a few miles down the road at an orphanage. The featured video shows the latest progress of the Girl Dormitory. The name of this project is called Ruth's Legacy with a total cost of $29,038.
This project is being led by board member, Mylisa Wilburn. To date, more than $24,000 has been raised. Four of the five phases are now complete, the foundation, and the walls/beams, the roof, and the openings.
The remaining phase includes the outer finishing. To donate any amount toward the completion of this project or any other ongoing activity for DHR Ministries please visit www.dhrministries.org.
