Access to quality education for children ages 6–12 continues to be a significant challenge in many regions of the Republic of Uganda. In 2013, DHR Ministries launched an initiative to develop an Educational Complex in Ibanda, Uganda, designed to provide children with the resources and environment needed for a world-class learning experience. The complex features a seven-classroom school block, a library and multi-purpose building, a fully equipped kitchen, separate latrines for boys and girls, dormitories for students who live long distances from the school, and an administration building for local staff and faculty. To date, the following construction buildings have been successfully completed:
