Proposed Projects

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming construction of the Bishop John H. Sheard & Lady Willie Mae Sheard Primary School in Tongolo, Uganda.
This transformative project marks a significant step toward improving education, which is the heart of Bishop John H. Sheard and opportunity in the Tongolo community children, which is the heart of Lady WillieMae Sheard. With donors like you, the new school promises to be a beacon of hope for generations to come.
The Need for a New School
Currently, children in Tongolo attend classes in an inadequate facility that struggles to meet their needs. Overcrowding, poor infrastructure, and limited resources hinder both learning and personal growth. The community has long recognized the urgent need for a safe, welcoming environment where every child can thrive.
Space for Learning and Growth
The new school will feature a modern, 7-classroom block to provide spacious, comfortable learning environments for students. In addition, the facility will include a well-equipped kitchen to support healthy meal programs and two bathrooms to improve hygiene and dignity for all children. The school’s design reflects a commitment to inclusivity and excellence, serving both Christian and Muslim students in the community.
