The DHR Ministries organization has raised nearly $200,000 toward building an educational complex in Ibanda, Uganda. To date the campus includes a completed 7 classroom primary school and now a completed kitchen! The primary school is fully operational with more than 300 students enrolled each year. Other projects on the campus include an administration building, a library, and girl and boy dormitories.
In October of 2015, the building efforts of the Kitchen on the educational complex in Ibanda, Uganda were completed after a generous donation from Hope Jones who wanted to leave living legacies around the world for her children and grandchildren. The kitchen's namesake is Latoya Smith who is the daughter of Hope Jones. Now the school faculty can ensure the students have proper nourishment throughout the day so that they are mentally and physically prepared to learn.
