On Sunday, April 29, 2018, DHR Ministries hosted its annual fundraising event in Upper Marlboro, MD. Special guests included both Carter Memorial Church of Baltimore and Gary Sprewell of Los Angeles California. It was an amazing experiences that yielded more than $30,000 in proceeds toward future work in the Republic of Uganda!!
There are several projects that have been completed in just 5 years. One of the news was the introduction of a newest projects is a medical clinic being built in Ibanda, Uganda. This project is being led by board member Walter Chandler and was initiated after learning that there are hardly any accessible medical facilities within 5 miles for child birth, dentistry, or pediatrics. One of the most rewarding highlights of the evening was the dedication of the Women's Center to the memory of Lady Kandace Pierce!! To God Be the Glory!!
